We take the utmost care and apply the latest security standards to ensure maximum protection of your personal data. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.

We reserve the right to change these security and data protection measures if this becomes necessary due to technical changes.

You have the following rights

Access to personal data in accordance with Art. 15 GDPR, rectification of data in accordance with Art. 16 GDPR, erasure ("right to be forgotten") in accordance with Art. 17 GDPR, restriction of processing in accordance with Art. 18 GDPR, objection to processing in accordance with Art. 21 GDPR, right to data portability in accordance with Art. 20 GDPR and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority pursuant to Art. 78 GDPR and the right to information about the existence or non-existence of automated decision-making, including profiling. Data is personal if it can be clearly assigned to a specific natural person. Below we provide you with an overview of how we ensure the protection of your personal data and what type of data is collected on our website and for what purpose.

Hosting and server log files

We host our website with our processor RAIDBOXES GmbH, Friedrich-Ebert-Straße 7, 48153 Münster, Germany. For the purpose of monitoring the technical function and increasing the operational security of our web host, it automatically collects and stores information in so-called server log files, which your browser automatically transmits to us. These are

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • referrer URL
  • Host name of the accessing computer
  • Time of the server request IP address

We process the aforementioned data for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a smooth connection to the website,
  • Ensuring a comfortable use of our website,
  • Evaluation of system security and stability
  • Other administrative purposes

This data cannot be assigned to specific persons. This data is not merged with other data sources. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required for its intended purpose. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended. If the data is stored in log files, this is the case after seven days at the latest. Storage beyond this period is possible. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or anonymized so that it is no longer possible to identify the accessing client. The collection of data for the provision of the website and the storage of data in log files is absolutely necessary for the operation of the website. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, which permits the processing of data for the performance of a contract or pre-contractual measures.

Contact via email and contact form

When you contact us by email or via a contact form, the data you provide (your email address, possibly your name and telephone number) will be stored by us in order to answer your request. If we request information via our contact form that is not required to contact you, we have always marked this as optional. We use this information to specify your request and to improve the processing of your request. This information is provided expressly on a voluntary basis and with your consent, Art. 6 para. 1 a GDPR. If this involves information on communication channels (e.g. email address, telephone number), you also consent to us contacting you via this communication channel in order to respond to your request. You can of course revoke this consent at any time for the future.

We will retain the data you provide on the contact form until you request its deletion, revoke your consent for its storage, or the purpose for its storage no longer pertains (e.g. after fulfilling your request). Mandatory statutory provisions - in particular retention periods - remain unaffected.

In particular, US security authorities can access your data without you being informed and without you being able to take legal action against this.

This means that your IP address will be truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other signatory states to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage to the website operator.

Google Ads and conversion tracking

This website uses Google Ads. Google Ads is an online advertising program of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House Barrow St, Dublin 4, Ireland (parent company: Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States ("Google").
As part of Google Ads, we use what is known as conversion tracking. When you click on an ad placed by Google, a cookie is set for conversion tracking. Cookies are small text files that the Internet browser stores on the user's computer. These cookies lose their validity after 30 days and are not used to personally identify the user. If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you can object to this use by easily deactivating the Google Conversion Tracking cookie via your Internet browser under user settings.
